“Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners’ and Released Prisoners Affairs Issa Karake briefed a delegation of Palestinians from Chile regarding the prisoners’ cause, and gave them a detailed explanation of all the crimes and attacks against them [the prisoners], which are considered war crimes and crimes against humanity… At the end of the meeting, the delegation gave the head of the commission a symbolic gift in the form of a sports uniform on which a map of Palestine is printed.”
