in her own special way"

Recently, one of Abbas' advisors, Sultan Abu Al-Einein, chose to "salute the soul" of the terrorist who led the most lethal attack in Israel's history that killed 37 civilians:

"Martyr Dalal Mughrabi - I salute her soul and the souls of all the Martyrs - [Dalal] who established her Palestinian Republic in her own special way between Jaffa and Tel Aviv."

Establishing the "Palestinian Republic in her own special way" refers to the 1978 Coastal Road Massacre, when Mughrabi and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, killing 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.

Abbas' advisor also advocated dying for "Palestine": "On this land and for this land it is worth giving our blood in order to expel these invaders from every inch of our Palestinian land."

Two weeks earlier Al-Einein expressed similar admiration for terrorist Mughrabi and again praised the idea of giving one's "blood" for "Palestine":

"[We remember] that dark-skinned young woman from the Shatila [refugee] camp [Dalal Mughrabi], who would not agree to anything other than to establish her state between Jaffa and Lebanon in her special way; that young woman who fought along with her comrades until her ammunition ran out. Yes, March is honored by this Palestinian blood..."

This is the same advisor of Abbas who praised a terrorist who stabbed an Israeli to death as "heroic fighter" and gave "blessings to the breast that nursed [him]." Following Palestinian Media Watch's report on this,US Congress members demandedAbbas fire the former advisor for glorification of murderer, however Abbas neither condemned his statements nor dismissed him from office. Instead, a Fatah spokesman called Congress' demand a "scandalous audacity and prejudice in favor of Israel," and a regular columnist for the official PA daily called it "cowboy logic devoid of diplomatic tact."

Palestinian Media Watch has documented that the Palestinian Authority and Fatah have turned terrorist Dalal Mughrabi into a role model for Palestinians.

The following is a longer excerpt of Abbas' advisor's speeches in which he praised terrorist Dalal Mughrabi:

Mahmoud Abbas' advisor on NGOs Sultan Abu Al-Einein: "This [commemoration of Land Day] reminds us of March, in which the Palestinian woman excelled in the art of warfare beside the Palestinian man. We also recall Martyr Dalal Mughrabi - I salute her soul and the souls of all the Martyrs - [Dalal] who established her Palestinian Republic in her own special way between Jaffa and Tel Aviv... Land Day is not [just] a regular, passing day in the life of our Palestinian nation, but it confirms and reminds those whose memory has betrayed them... that on this land and for this land it is worth giving our blood in order to expel these invaders from every inch of our Palestinian land."

Mahmoud Abbas' advisor on NGOs Sultan Abu Al-Einein:

"I am greatly honored to be standing [here] today, so days that are important to us all will never be erased from our memory. In March, [we mark] Palestinian Women's Day, in March, Palestinian Mother's Day also occurs, in March [we remember] that dark-skinned young woman from the Shatila [refugee] camp [Dalal Mughrabi], who would not agree to anything other than to establish her state between Jaffa and Lebanon in her special way; that young woman who fought along with her comrades until her ammunition ran out. Yes, March is honored by this Palestinian blood... They [Israelis] are deluding themselves if they think the negotiations are our only choice. Let the young people hear me: Allah, honor us with Martyrdom (Shahada). Allah, give us the honor of being part of the procession of Martyrs."
