The PA lies to defend terror

PA presents Palestinian terrorist murderers
as victims of Israeli “executions in cold blood,”
and shootings and stabbings as Israeli “pretexts” to kill

Terrorist who stabbed 2, critically wounding a 13-year-old,
said to be victim of Israeli “execution”

Stabber who knifed 3 on bus
was “attacked and executed in cold blood”

PA terror glorification continues:

Shooters killing one and wounding several on bus
are “Martyrs” who carried out
“a shooting and stabbing operation”

One of the ways the Palestinian Authority is keeping its population angry, willing to riot and continue terror attacks against Israelis, is by falsely portraying every terrorist as an innocent victim of Israel.

PA Chairman Abbas’ spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeina, stated that Israel had “executed” Hassan ‎Manasrah (15), one of two young Palestinian terrorists, who repeatedly stabbed and critically wounded a 13-‎year-old boy (name undisclosed) who was riding his bike and also stabbed Yossef Ben Shalom (21) in the Pisgat ‎Ze'ev neighborhood of East Jerusalem yesterday:
“Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina stated that the execution of child Hassan Manasrah... is an abominable crime, and the legal, humanitarian and political responsibility for it is on the Israeli government. He demanded that the Israeli government catches those who committed this crime. Abu Rudeina stated: ‘If the government of Israel continues this escalation [of violence] by carrying out more grave acts of execution, the situation in the region will go out of control, and everyone will pay a heavy price for these Israeli crimes.’”
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 13, 2015]
PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah also made the same false accusation before the president of India, Pranab Mukherjee:
“Just yesterday the Israeli occupation forces assassinated in cold blood the child Hassan Manasrah and his innocence and calls for help did not help.”
[WAFA, Oct 13, 2015]
As Palestinian Media Watch has been reporting, the official PA media has been glorifying the murderers of Israelis by portraying the killed terrorists as Shahids - Islamic Martyrs. Today this was repeated as the PA daily presented the dead terrorist who critically injured the Israeli 15-year old as a “Martyr,” adding that the stabbing attack as a “claim” made by Israel:
“Child Hassan Manasrah, 15, died as a Martyr yesterday and his cousin, Ahmad Saleh Manasrah, 13, was seriously wounded by the occupation’s gunfire, after, according to [Israel’s] claim, they stabbed two settlers in the settlement of Pisgat Zeev, which is situated on the lands of Hizmeh and Beit Hanina in the north of occupied Jerusalem.”
The two terrorist stabbers were described as innocent schoolboys:
“The two of them were on their way home from school. They went to the commercial center next to their homes in the settlement Pisgat Zeev, and were shot, based on the claim that they had tried to stab settlers.”
[WAFA (the official Palestinian news agency), Oct. 13, 2015]

The PA news agency also falsely stated that Israel “attacked and executed in cold blood” terrorist Muhammad Nazmi Shamasneh (22) who choked and stabbed an Israeli soldier in order to take his weapon, and stabbed two others, yesterday on a bus near the central bus station in Jerusalem:
“The last attack and execution of Palestinians residing in Jerusalem was the execution of the young Muhammad Nazmi Shamasneh (i.e., terrorist who stabbed 3)... in the Jerusalem bus station, based on the claim he had attempted to take a soldier’s weapon. This despite the fact that in the picture the Martyr (Shahid) is seen bound before he was executed in cold blood.”
[WAFA (the official Palestinian news agency), Oct. 13, 2015]
Also contrary to the PA claim that it is not supporting the terror, the terrorists who shot and killed one and wounded several in bus 78 in Jerusalem today were referred to by WAFA, the official Palestinian news agency, as “Martyrs” who had killed “settlers” in a “a shooting and stabbing operation.” [WAFA, Oct. 13, 2015] Calling them Martyrs means in the PA’s opinion murdering and injuring Israelis are acts Allah desires.

The following are longer excerpts of the reports mentioned above:

Headline: ‘Hundreds [of Palestinians] prefer not to go to work in West Jerusalem out of fear for their lives”
“Many of the [Palestinian] residents of occupied Jerusalem who work in the western part of the city, preferred not to go to work for the fourth day in a row, for fear of being attacked by the settlers or occupation forces.
A number of Jerusalem residents reported that what has been exposed in the local media and news websites regarding the murder of some residents of the city in cold blood, while making accusations against them to justify the executions, has begun to cast a heavy shadow, and cause many of the [Palestinian] Jerusalem workers not to go to their workplaces in Jerusalem out of fear for their lives.
The last attack and execution of Palestinians residing in Jerusalem was the execution of the young Muhammad Nazmi Shamasneh (i.e., terrorist who stabbed 3), from the village of Katana northwest of Jerusalem, in the Jerusalem bus station, based on the claim he had attempted to take a soldier’s weapon. This despite the fact that in the picture the Martyr (Shahid) is seen bound before he was executed in cold blood.
This sight was repeated yesterday [Oct. 12, 2015] in the settlement of Pisgat Zeev next to the Shuafat refugee camp in the center of occupied Jerusalem. Bullets were shot at two children: Martyr Hassan Khaled Mahaineh Manasrah, 15, a 10th grade student at the Ibn Khaldun school, and Ahmad Saleh Mahaineh Manasrah, 13, an 8th grade student at the Al-Jil Al-Jadid school, who was injured. The two of them were on their way home from school. They went to the commercial center next to their homes in the settlement Pisgat Zeev, and were shot, based on the claim that they had tried to stab settlers. Hassan was killed by the shooting, while settlers and people from the occupation forces gleefully tortured the child Ahmad and did not give him any aid, despite the fact that he was seriously injured, while cursing and saying very crude things, which were widely quoted in the social media.
The student Marah Al-Bakri was seriously wounded by a settler’s gunfire, on the pretext she had tried to stab him, and before that the student Mustafa Al-Khatib was executed in the area of the Lion’s Gate, for the same accusation (an attempted stabbing of a soldier) [parentheses in source]. Local human rights organizations published a guide for students in the city, which tells them how to deal with the gangs of settlers and the occupation forces’ soldiers, out of fear for their lives.”

Pisgat Ze'ev stabbing attack - two Palestinian terrorists, cousins Hassan ‎Manasrah (15) and Ahmad Manasrah (13), stabbed Yossef Ben Shalom (21) in the Pisgat ‎Ze'ev neighborhood in northeastern Jerusalem, and then repeatedly stabbed Naor Ben Ezra (13) who was riding his bike on Oct. 12, 2015. Both victims were seriously injured. Hassan Manasrah was killed while fleeing the scene, and Ahmad Manasrah was shot by Israeli police, arrested, and hospitalized. She was serving 8.5 years in prison before being released after 8 years in prison as part of a prisoner exchange deal on Nov. 24, 2023, between Israel and Hamas in which Israel agreed to release 150 terrorist prisoners in exchange for 50 Israeli hostages during the Israeli counter-terror operation against Hamas’ terror war on Israel.

Headline: “3 youths died as Martyrs and 3 settlers were killed in Jerusalem.”
“3 [Palestinian] youths died as Martyrs and three settlers were killed today, Tuesday [Oct. 13, 2015] before noon in a shooting and stabbing operation (i.e., terror attack) inside an Israeli bus in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem.
According to Hebrew sources, two [Palestinian] citizens aged 22 and 23 died as Martyrs, while 2 settlers were killed and more than 9 wounded ‘during a shooting and stabbing operation the two [Palestinians] carried out inside a bus with settlers in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood.’ At this time it is impossible to verify their identity.
The sources stated that in a run-over operation (i.e., car terror attack) carried out in a bus parking in Jerusalem, a [Palestinian] citizen died as a Martyr and a settler was killed, and a few more settlers were wounded.
In a second stabbing operation (i.e., terror attack) in Ra’anana near Tel Aviv, two settlers were wounded, according to Hebrew sources. Previously, an additional stabbing attempt occurred in the same area. The [Palestinian] who carried out the operation was arrested after he was seriously wounded as a result of [Israeli] passersby attacking him.
On the Hebrew websites, it was claimed that ‘the youth was carrying a knife, and attacked a group of settlers near the Ra’anana municipality building, and lightly injured one of them.’”

Headline: ‘Abu Rudeina: The execution of child Manasrah (i.e., terrorist who stabbed 2) is a crime Israel is responsible for’
“Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina stated that the execution of child Hassan Manasrah in front of the media, as child Muhammad Al-Dura was executed in the year 2000, is an abominable crime, and the legal, humanitarian and political responsibility for it is on the Israeli government. He demanded that the Israeli government catches those who committed this crime. Abu Rudeina stated: ‘If the government of Israel continues this escalation [of violence] by carrying out more grave acts of execution, the situation in the region will go out of control, and everyone will pay a heavy price for these Israeli crimes.’
Child Hassan Manasrah, 15, died as a Martyr yesterday and his cousin, Ahmad Saleh Manasrah, 13, was seriously wounded by the occupation’s gunfire, after, according to [the Israelis’] claim, they stabbed two settlers in the settlement of Pisgat Zeev, which is situated on the lands of Hizmeh and Beit Hanina in the north of occupied Jerusalem.”
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 13, 2015]

Muhammad Al-Dura - 12-year-old Palestinian boy shot and killed after being caught in crossfire when Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli soldiers on Sept. 30, 2000, the second day of the PA terror campaign (the second Intifada, 2000-2005). The PA blamed Israel for the shooting that killed Al-Dura, but investigation by the Israeli army and by both German and French journalists in 2002 and 2004 determined that the bullets shot in his direction could not have been fired from the position of the Israeli forces. Nonetheless the PA used his death as a driving force to incite Palestinians to join in the terror campaign, broadcasting pictures of Al-Dura in the crossfire numerous times daily, and successfully inciting Palestinians to go out and murder Israelis to avenge his alleged killing by Israel. Some have compared the unscrupulous use of his death to successfully motivate the murder of Israelis to the blood libels of the Middle Ages, when blaming deaths of children on Jews led to the murder of thousands of Jews.
