2/3 of Palestinians support stabbings

Poll shows PA promotion and support of violence
 is a success

Following almost three months of Palestinian riots, violence and deadly terror attacks against Israelis, 2/3 (67%) of Palestinians are in favor of stabbing attacks against Israelis and almost the same amount are in favor of "an armed intifada."

Although most Palestinians support "the use of knives," almost half (47%) of Palestinians believe the PA's libel that Israel
fabricates the stabbing attacks  and that "those who were shot have not stabbed or were not attempting to stab Israelis." However, 51% do believe that "most... have in fact stabbed or were attempting to stab Israelis."

These opinions were revealed in a recent poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip between Dec. 10-12, 2015 (see below). Summing up the results, PSR remarked that "the 'Oslo generation' of youth between the ages of 18 and 22 are the most supportive of an armed intifada and stabbings and the least supportive of the two-state solution."

This poll confirms
Palestinian Media Watch's findings that the PA is not educating Palestinians to peace, but is entrenching hatred and terror, and shows that the PA's constant terror glorification, promotion of violence and libels against Israel successfully reverberate among Palestinians.

The poll found that almost 2/3 (60%) are in favor of an "armed intifada" and more than 1/3 (37%) of Palestinians believe that "the current confrontations" will develop into such. Two thirds (66%) believe that a "new armed intifada" "would serve Palestinian national interests in ways that negotiations could not."

Other aspects of the poll also reflect that Palestinians believe PA libels, especially the false claim that
Israel seeks to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque  - the allegation used by the PA to spark the current wave of violence as well as previous waves of terror attacks:

"An overwhelming majority believes that al Haram al Sharif is in grave danger: 51% believe that Israel intends to destroy al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock and replace them with a Jewish temple; 17% believe that it intends to divide the plateau on which the two mosques sit so that Jews would have a synagogue alongside the Muslim holy places; and 9% believe that Israel intends to change the status quo prevailing in the plateau since 1967 by allowing Jews to pray there. Only 11% believe that Israel is interested in maintaining the status quo without change."
