PA ministry sponsors camp named after terrorist Abu Jihad

Headline: “Opening of Shahid (Martyr) Abu Jihad camp in Aqaba [village near Tubas, in Jenin district]”
“Salam Daraghmeh, spokeswoman for the Youth and Sports Administration in Tubas, announced that the Shahid (Martyr) Abu Jihad camp has opened in Aqaba, under the auspices of the Youth and Sports Ministry. Present at the opening ceremony were the head of the Youth and Sports Administration in the Tubas region, Arafat Al-Masri; General Director of Youth Affairs in the Youth and Sports Ministry, Walid Atatreh, and principal of the Aqaba Boys’ High School, Marwan Salameh. In his lengthy speech, head of the Youth and Sports Administration in the Tubas district, Arafat Al-Masri, emphasized the role of these camps in refining and nurturing the youth's skills and abilities, and in training young leaders who will in the future fill a role [on the national level]."”

Note: Abu Jihad was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization’s military wing and planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks, including the most lethal in Israeli history, the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
