PA daily refers to Israel as “1948 territories”

“Over 55,000 citizens, including 200 adult worshippers from the Gaza Strip, held the Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque… A WAFA correspondent reported that the worshippers had begun arriving at the Mosque yesterday morning [Dec. 19. 2014] from Jerusalem, its suburbs, neighboring villages and towns in the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).”
