In March 1978, Dalal Mughrabi led a group of Fatah terrorists from Lebanon and hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway. Confronted by the Israeli army, the terrorists killed 37 civilians on the bus,12 of them children. Fatah celebrated the anniversary of the attack and posted the above picture from the terror attack.
Posted text: “Collect your body parts and leave!
On this day, March 11, in 1978, Dalal Mughrabi and her companions declared the birth of the Palestinian Republic in the heart of the occupied territories (i.e., Israel). The enemy admitted the death of 30 Zionists in the operation, yet according to the reports the number exceeded 80 casualties. Through this, Fatah heroes retaliated against the Verdun Operation (i.e., Israeli operation against PLO leaders, see below), following the retaliation by the Savoy [Hotel operation] members. Retaliation after retaliation and the windstorms will not subside.”

Note: “The Verdun Operation” is the Arabic name for an Israeli military operation against PLO targets in the Lebanese cities of Beirut and Sidon on April 10, 1973 (Operation Spring of Youth in Israel.) During the operation, Israeli army forces killed three senior PLO terrorist leaders: Kamal Adwan, Kamal Nasser, and Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar.
“The Savoy Operation” refers to a terror attack in March 1975, when eight terrorists traveled by boat from Lebanon to a Tel Aviv beach. They took over the Savoy Hotel and took guests as hostages. The next morning, Israeli forces attacked and killed seven of the terrorists. Eight hostages and three soldiers were killed by the terrorists during the attack.
