Headline: “The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades: The Jerusalem operation points to the adherence of the Palestinian people to the brigades’ path of revolution”
“The Martyr (Shahid) Nidal Al-Amoudi Division of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (not connected to Fatah in the West Bank and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas –Ed.) of the Fatah Movement blessed the heroic [truck] ramming operation that was carried out by released prisoner [Fadi Al-Qanbar] today, Sunday [Jan. 8, 2017], in occupied Jerusalem, and brought about the deaths of 4 settlers (sic., Israeli soldiers) and the wounding of over 20 others.
The brigades said that this operation comes as part of the natural response to the ongoing crimes and violations that the occupation is committing against the Palestinian people, and noted that this is a brave resistance act that emphasizes that there is no option that surpasses the option of the rifle and the armed struggle.
They clarified that this heroic operation is a natural response to the occupation’s crimes, and that it points to the adherence of the Palestinian people to the brigades’ path of resistance…
The brigades called to continue and escalate the pace of the resistance to the occupation, in all its forms (i.e., including violence), throughout the occupied Palestinian territories. They also emphasized that they completely bless the heroic operation that was carried out by a free Palestinian resident of Jerusalem.
They added: ‘We call on our people in the West Bank and in Jerusalem to carry out more quality individual [operations] like this, and to aim the rifle’s muzzle at the occupation’s soldiers and the herds of its settlers.’ In addition, they emphasized that this does not require a decision or approval by any party.”
