“Palestinian Liberation Front (i.e., member of the PLO) political bureau member Abbas Al-Jum’a said that the blood of Martyr (Shahid) Khaled Alwan (i.e., terrorist, murdered 4), and also of the rest of the Martyrs, has laid the foundations of the path of might and honor and realized great victories. Al-Jum’a emphasized in a statement that the 35th anniversary of the operation of heroic Martyr Khaled Alwan (i.e., terrorist, murdered 4) at Wimpy [Café] emphasized the importance of the resistance, as he was the first to ride his horse (referring to Alwan being considered the first to commit a terror attack against Israeli soldiers in Beirut –Ed.), and directed his compass towards Palestine… Al-Jum’a expressed a hypothesis that the blood of Martyr Khaled Alwaun and of the rest of the Martyrs has prepared the path of the return to Palestine, while emphasizing the continuation of the resistance and dealing with the plots being woven against the Palestinian cause, as he referred to the Palestinian people being a guest on the lands of Lebanon, opposing naturalization and obligated to the laws of Lebanon until it returns to its home. He emphasized the strengthening of the Lebanese-Palestinian relations.”
