PLO Head of Prisoners’ Commission visits families of imprisoned murderers: “We will not abandon our prisoners and their families regardless of the price”

Headline: “Abu Bakr: The prisoners’ issue is in a complicated and unprecedented state”
“Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners' Affairs Qadri Abu Bakr emphasized that the issue of the prisoners in the occupation’s prisons is in a serious, complicated, and unprecedented state, which is expressed by the escalation of the extremist occupation government’s open attack against our prisoners and their families… Abu Bakr said this during his meeting with Jericho and Jordan Valley District Governor Jihad Abu Al-Asal and his visit to the families of the district’s most veteran prisoners: Jum’a Adam (i.e., terrorist who murdered 5 together with 2 accomplices), who has been imprisoned for 31 years and is sentenced to life; Issa Takrouri (PMW was unable to verify the nature of his crimes –Ed.), who has been imprisoned for 15 years and is sentenced to 40 years; and Mahmoud [Abu] Kharabish, who has served 30 years and is sentenced to life (i.e., terrorist who murdered 5 together with 2 accomplices)…  Abu Bakr added that ‘The escalation of the attack against the prisoners and their families only strengthens our perseverance and insistence on being united around this fighting group, which has sacrificed everything for the freedom of this land and this people, and we will not abandon our prisoners and their families regardless of the price.’”

Jum'a Adam, Ahmad Takrouri, and Mahmoud Abu Kharabish – Palestinian terrorists who threw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli bus in Jericho in 1988, murdering a mother and her 3 children, as well as an Israeli soldier who tried to rescue them. All 3 terrorists were sentenced to life sentences. Takrouri was released in the Shalit prisoner exchange deal in 2011. Adam and Kharabish were scheduled to be released in 2014 in an Israeli gesture as part of peace talks, but the release was cancelled.

Issa Takrouri - PMW was unable to verify the nature of his crimes
