“The uprising has spread spontaneously throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip and within the Green Line – in the Galilee, the triangle (a concentration of Israeli-Arab towns and villages adjacent to the Green Line in northern Israel), the Negev, the mixed cities and even to the east of the city of Tel Aviv itself. In this uprising, the Palestinian people has clearly declared that the cause is one, the people is one and the goal is one… Thank you, heroic [Palestinian] residents of Jerusalem, who once again proved that the people is the original spring, and that this spring always overflows with giving.”
