Jamal Muhaisen:
The popular
insurgency will be a continuation of the
popular resistance
,
which is the strategy
chosen by the
Palestinian
leadership,
and we have always hoped and worked
to make it spread and include all the
[social] strata of our people, and today
we hope that it reaches the level of
intifada
...
We must continue with the popular
insurgency
. W
e must support, escalate
and expand it.
I repeat: Although we
mourn the death of every one of us, they
are
Martyrs (
Shahids
)
, and every people
that has fought against an occupation has
made sacrifices. Hence, as long as there
is a resistance plan, I say: The mother of
the Martyr will let out cries of joy. However,
in case
of
daily, weekly, or monthly actions
not directed by a strategy, one feels that
we have sacrificed
