“Secretary-General of the National and Islamic Forces [and PLO Executive Committee member] Dr. Wasel Abu Yusuf said that transferring the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will cause the spread of terror and harm to the region’s stability, and emphasized the activity to find tools to pressure the new American administration in order to prevent it from approving the transfer.
Abu Yusuf said in an interview with Radio Mawtini today, Tuesday [Jan. 24, 2017]: ‘Jerusalem is the capital of the occupied State of Palestine, and transferring the embassy to it contradicts the decisions of the international bodies, international law, and the agreements that the US has sponsored, particularly the option of two states.’”
