Gazan conference warns against "recurring attacks and invasions [of the Al-Aqsa Mosque]… whose goal is to force the division [of the Al-Aqsa Mosque] by times and areas"

Headline: “The [Lebanese] Al-Quds Institute organized a conference in Gaza on the danger of the Israeli plans against the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
“Politicians and academics warned of the dangerous Israeli plans against Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and of the escalation in the rate of recurring attacks and invasions, which are reaching the level of war crimes, and whose goal is to force the division [of the Al-Aqsa Mosque] by times and areas. Likewise, they noted that the historical facts verify that the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall/Wailing Wall of the Temple Mount) is a holy site for Muslims, and it should not be called ‘the Wailing Wall’, as it has no connection to the Jews, according to a document of the International British Committee from 1930. This was said during a conference organized by the International Jerusalem Institute yesterday [Aug. 27, 2015] regarding the Al-Buraq Wall – between the Islamic right and Jewish claims, with the participation of many experts on Jerusalem, politicians, and academics… Dr. Abd Al-Latif Abu Hashem, an expert on Jerusalem, said that the Jews, according to what their bible says, tried to create their own historical and religious right to Jerusalem by claiming that the Al-Buraq wall is one of the walls of the Temple of Solomon, who is buried under the Al-Aqsa Mosque. However, the historical facts, the archeologists, and all excavations since 1968 have found no proof of Jewish antiquities in the area of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, nor was any proof of their antiquities found anywhere in the land of Palestine. This proves that the presence of Jews in the land of Palestine was nothing but the presence of invaders, like all of the other invaders who conquered Palestine and Jerusalem.”
