The cartoon shows a Palestinian who kicks over a metal detector, which flips upside down to form the word "ours" in Arabic and complete the text on the cartoon: “Jerusalem is ours.”

The cartoon refers to the metal detectors Israel placed at the entrances to the Temple Mount following a terror attack in which 2 Israelis were murdered. On July 14, 2017, three Israeli Arab terrorists, Muhammad Ahmad Muhammad Jabarin, Muhammad Hamed Abd Al-Latif Jabarin, and Muhammad Ahmad Mufaddal Jabarin, aged 29, 19, and 19, shot from the Temple Mount at Israeli policemen, and murdered 2 Israeli Druze border policemen - Haiel Stawi and Kamil Shnaan. Two of the terrorists were shot and killed by other policemen during the attack. The third terrorist was shot and killed while trying to flee.
Israel's following security measures, which included closing the Temple Mount for two days and installing metal detectors at the entrances to the religious site have been portrayed by Palestinian leaders as "blatant aggression" and "escalation."
