PA PM: “Britain was, and continues to be, a main supporter” of the PA

Official PA TV News report on an event in honor of British Queen Elizabeth’s birthday, attended by PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah:
Official PA TV newsreader: “The Prime Minister [Rami Hamdallah] expressed his hope that the UK government would support, in international circles, our people’s right to put an end to the suffering that has been going on for 67 years, and would officially recognize a sovereign, independent State of Palestine within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its eternal capital. [This was stated] during his attendance of the birthday celebration of Her Royal Highness, the British Queen Elizabeth. He pointed out that Britain was, and continues to be, a main supporter of our people’s path towards the construction, development and establishment [of a state].”
