Basketball tournament named after Fatah terrorist
Headline: “The Martyr Maher Jawabreh team won the Al-Fara’a Youth Basketball Championship”
“The Al-Fara'a [refugee camp sports] center brought the Ramadan tournament for those born in 1997 to a close. The ‘Martyr (Shahid) Maher Jawabreh’ and ‘Martyr Mustafa Zalat’ teams met in the finals.”
Note: Maher Jawabreh – member of Fatah’s Military Intelligence. He was killed in 2001 while preparing a car bomb. The PA claims he was assassinated. He was involved in planning a terror attack on the no. 51 bus in Tel Aviv in 2000 in which approximately 10 people were injured.
