Martial arts tournament named after arch-terrorist: "Prince of Martyrs Abu Jihad festival"

Headline: "The Palestinian Academy of Martial Arts opened the fourth Prince of Martyrs festival"
"Head of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Academy of Martial Arts Jihad Uweida announced that the board of directors and its affiliated clubs are prepared for the opening of the fourth consecutive Prince of Martyrs Abu Jihad Festival. The tournament will open this Saturday [April 16, 2016] at the Beit Hanina Youth Club in Jerusalem and the Bait Al-Maqdis Club in Hebron simultaneously. Uweida noted that the first Prince of Martyrs Festival was held in 2013, and from that year, the Palestinian Academy has been strict about holding it in order to mark the anniversary of [the death of] the prince of Martyrs, Khalil Al-Wazir 'Abu Jihad.'"

Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
