Female terrorist portrayed as a symbol of women's rights and equality

Sama Awida, columnist at Al-Ayyam, writing the column “Free pens”:
"Dalal Mughrabi was independent when she went out to fight for liberty; she did not ask permission from her guardian. If Djamila Bouhired and the women of Algeria had not been free, they would not have gone out to fight against the colonialism that the world still speaks of with pride. And if Hanan Ashrawi were not free, she would not have been able to convey her messages to the entire world and to be one of the most important emissaries of the Palestinian cause..."

Note: Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history in 1978, when she and other terrorists hijacked a bus and killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
