PA council: Israel turns Islamic sites into synagogues and Judaization centers
“[The PA’s] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places warned yesterday, Monday [Oct. 28, 2013], against a new Judaization plan aimed against the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s holiness, seeing that the Israeli occupation forces are seeking to turn an Islamic archaeological site near the Mosque into a Jewish ritual bath for women. [The ritual bath] will serve the Jewish women who break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecrate it…
The Council's Secretary General, Dr. Hanna Issa said that this new plan, alongside hundreds of deliberate Judaization plans aimed against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and anything Arab in the occupied city of Jerusalem, serve as an Israeli means of Judaizing the Mosque. [This is done] by coordinated, increased efforts to dig tunnels beneath it, by taking hold of its Islamic sites, including its mosques and [holy] sites and turning them into synagogues and Judaization centers, [by] opening the gates of the Mosque to unrestrained extremists and settler herds so that they may desecrate it, and finally, by taking complete control of it in preparation for turning it into a synagogue for them and for building the alleged Temple on its ruins.”
Note: The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "break-in." However, all visitors are subject to rigorous security checks by Israeli security guards before being granted access to the Temple Mount.
