PA Council warns of Israel’s "Judaization of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and transforming it into a Jewish synagogue"

“Teams from the occupation municipality in Jerusalem placed a sign in the Old City, near the Council Gate, one of the main gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The sign bears the names of the places called the ‘Temple Mount,’ alluding to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Arabic, Hebrew and English... The [PA’s] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places said that the sign constitutes a declaration on the part of Israel of the impending construction of the alleged Temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa. The Council also addressed the Israeli extremist [policy] of establishing facts on the ground through the Judaization of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and by transforming it into a Jewish synagogue, in preparation for establishing the alleged Temple on its ruins.”
