PLO refers to the terror wave as “peaceful”; warns of Israel’s “war crimes” and its plans for “Judaization” and “history falsification”

Following is the text of the notice published by the committee: The PLO Executive Committee blessed the peaceful popular uprising (i.e., reference to wave of Palestinian terror attacks) and our people’s legendary resolve in defending itself from the Israeli aggression and war crimes being perpetrated by the occupation authorities against our Palestinian people.
The Executive Committee expressed appreciation of President Mahmoud Abbas’ meeting with the Martyrs’ (Shahids’) families whose pure sons’ bodies are being held by the occupation authority (i.e., terrorists who were killed during their attacks), and blessed the great effort being made by the president to compel the [Israeli] government to release the Martyrs’ bodies…
At the same time, the committee warned against the Israeli government’s plan to allocate a mixed prayer plaza for Jewish men and women southwest of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in a plaza between the southern corner of the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Mughrabi Gate, and also against the other plans of Judaization and history falsification.”

This statement was made at the height of the Palestinian terror wave (2015-2016), which ‎included stabbings, shooting, Molotov cocktail and car ramming attacks. It started in September 2015 and as of July 2016, 40 people were killed (36 Israelis, 1 Palestinian, 2 Americans, and 1 foreign worker from Eritrea) and over 500 wounded.
