PLO accuses Israel of “systematic acts of Judaization,” “organized terror” against Palestinians in Jerusalem, “particularly” in the Al-Aqsa Mosque

Headline: “The Department for Jerusalem Affairs condemned the occupation’s crimes against the residents of Jerusalem”
“The PLO Department for Jerusalem Affairs condemned the ongoing policy of summary assassinations that the occupation authorities are carrying out against the [Arab] citizens in Jerusalem, the latest of which was its shooting of young Musbah Abu Sbeih (i.e., terrorist, murdered 2) on the claim that he shot at several settlers in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, which led to his death as a Martyr (Shahid) at the scene.
The [PLO] department said yesterday [Oct. 9, 2016] in a press release: ‘The tension in Jerusalem and its escalation are a result of the policies and acts of the Israeli occupation, its ongoing violations, the systematic acts of Judaization, the settlements, and the theft of lands. All of these have caused and cause greater anger among our people, which defends its holy sites and its legal national rights against the occupation’s arrogance.
The [PLO] department emphasized that our people will stand with all its might against this Israeli arrogance and the organized terror being perpetrated against our people standing firm in Jerusalem, and particularly in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Musbah Abu Sbeih – 39-year-old Palestinian terrorist who murdered 2 Israelis and wounded 5 others in 3 drive-by shooting attacks in Jerusalem on Oct. 9, 2016. Abu Sbeih, who held Israeli residency status, began his shooting spree at the Ammunition Hill light rail stop and continued to the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood. He was killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli border police officers during the attack. On the morning of the attack, Abu Sbeih was due to turn himself in to begin a 4 month jail sentence, after being convicted in January 2015 on numerous counts of inciting to terror and supporting a terror organization. On his Facebook page, Abu Sbeih praised terror groups including Hamas as well as terrorists who carried out attacks and actively called for attacks against Israelis. In July 2016, Abu Sbeih was given a distancing order from the Temple Mount that was to be in effect until the end of October 2016.
