Fatah declares “day of rage” in response to metal detectors on the Temple Mount
Headline: “Fatah called for a day of rage on Wednesday and for mass movement towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
“The Fatah Movement has announced several actions in the northern [West Bank] branches in light of the Israeli escalation against the Al-Aqsa Mosque (refers to metal detectors being placed at the entrance to the Temple Mount following a terror attack there on July 14, 2017; see note below –Ed.), the most significant of which is a day of rage this Wednesday [July 19, 2017] at all of the branches, and a call for mass movement towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque. In coordination with the [PA] Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Friday prayer will be held this week in the public plazas of the Palestinian cities, and every branch will define its plan to support the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy sites against the Israeli occupation’s acts of terror, until the occupation retracts its steps against the mosque.
These statements were made during a meeting held today [July 17, 2017] between Fatah Movement Secretary and [Fatah] Revolutionary Council member Adnan Ghaith, Fatah Movement Central Committee member and [Fatah] General Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization [in the West Bank] Dr. Jamal Muhaisen, and all of the secretaries of the Fatah Movement’s northern branches…
At the end of the meeting, the branch secretaries saluted all of the [Arab] residents of Jerusalem who are carrying out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) in the city, and said that Jerusalem’s cause is every Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian’s cause, and that this is expressed by conveying the Palestinian people’s willpower for widespread action in light of what is happening in Jerusalem and to rise up for it.”
Muhammad Ahmad Muhammad Jabarin, Muhammad Hamed Abd Al-Latif Jabarin, and Muhammad Ahmad Mufaddal Jabarin - Israeli Arab terrorists aged 29, 19, and 19, who shot from the Temple Mount at Israeli policemen, murdering 2 Israeli Druze border policemen - Haiel Stawi and Kamil Shnaan, on July 14, 2017. Two of the terrorists were shot and killed by other policemen during the attack. The third terrorist was shot and killed while trying to flee.
