Fatah official: "Trump represents the Israeli policy;" since his election, Israeli "arrogance" increased

Headline: "Muhaisen to Shasha: The arrest of Dweikat constitutes a crossing of a line by Israel and an escalation against Fatah"
"Fatah Central Committee member [and Commissioner for Diaspora Branches] Jamal Muhaisen said in an interview with [the independent Palestinian] Shasha news [website] that the arrest of [Fatah] Revolutionary Council member Talal Dweikat (He was arrested by Israel on suspicion of dealing in weapons on Jan. 11, 2017, and was released a few hours later. –Ed.) is an Israeli escalation and a dangerous crossing of a line.
Muhaisen said to Shasha [news website] that Fatah leadership member Talal Dweikat was the district governor of more than one city (sic.) and is [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas'] representative, and therefore his arrest constitutes a dangerous crossing of a line. He added that this constitutes an escalation against the Fatah Movement and the Palestinian people.
He continued and said that the Israeli occupation continues its arrogance day after day, and that this arrogance increased after the election of [Donald] Trump as president of the US. He noted that Trump represents the Israeli policy, and that since his election the acts of destruction and arrests have increased in the occupied Interior (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel), the West Bank, and Jerusalem."
