“This is America, more Jewish than the ultra-Orthodox Jews… This is America – more Zionist than ‘rebellion’ (see note below –Ed.), the hilltop youth, the herds of settlers, and the execution-without-trial organizations, which openly say that a good Palestinian is a dead Palestinian…
[US President] Donald Trump – despite his promises, and despite his ridiculous theatrical [hand] gestures when he stands in front of cameras and the stupid pantomime movements that he does – has brought nothing new.”
“Rebellion” refers to a small group of young Jews in the West Bank, which the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) referred to as “rebellion” in 2015 when it claimed they were planning to topple the Israeli government by sparking violence. Several were held in administrative detention for months and later released without evidence or indictments having been submitted against them.
