PA District Governor compares Israeli settlements to “poisonous adders”

     "District Governor of Bethlehem Kamel Hamid emphasized that it is important to take practical steps on the ground in order to strengthen the resolve of the members of our people.  District Governor Hamid said this during a tour he went on through the villages of the Bethlehem district's western countryside, which has been subjected to an unbridled settlement offensive for years… Hamid said that the occupation is waging a Judaization settlement war against the villages of the western countryside due to the important geographical location in proximity to occupied Jerusalem. He noted that the settlement[s] and the barbed wire fences wind through the lands of the villages of the western countryside like poisonous adders, and praised the resolve of the residents of these villages."
