Abbas’ advisor compares Netanyahu to Goebbels
Official PA TV News report on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement regarding his commitment to the two-state solution, and his holding the Palestinians responsible for the freeze in negotiations.
Political Advisor for President Mahmoud Abbas Nimer Hammad: “[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu tried to implement a propaganda method [which] I say is similar to [Nazi Germany's Minister of Propaganda] Goebbels’ [method]: ‘Lie, lie, lie, in the hope of reinforcing it [the lie] in public opinion.’ Netanyahu doesn’t want to touch the reason for the isolation [of Israel], which is the issue of settlement.”
