"The [PA] Ministry of Information stated that the occupation is the basis of the incitement and terror on the face of the earth, and that the Israeli PR, which has been packed with lies since the Nakba ("the catastrophe," the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel), disseminates a misleading narrative, which shows the attacker as victim and the attacked as 'terrorist.' The ministry made a statement yesterday [Oct. 9, 2015] that the intense war which Prime Minister of the occupation state Benjamin Netanyahu is carrying out against the [PA] leadership, the people, and the Palestinian media, and the invented allegations of incitement, constitute a direct continuation of a misleading propaganda, which complements the episodes of [Israeli] terror as part of an effort to intimidate and attempt to silence the voice of truth and conscience, in order to prevent the press from disseminating the crimes of the occupation against our people and its institutions."
