“Chairman of the Palestinian National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) Salim Al-Za'anoun expressed appreciation of the fact that the Greek Parliament decided unanimously to recognize the State of Palestine, despite the fact that Israel deceives world public opinion. In a press release today [Dec. 22, 2015], Tuesday, Al-Za’anoun described the decision as a victory for our people’s right to freedom and independence that will help isolate the Zionist occupation and its racist policy, especially now when our people is implementing its right to resist the occupation, which is committing massacres and summary executions against our people.”
