Text on poster: “The heroic Martyr (Shahid) Anan Abu Habseh, who carried out the stabbing operation at Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem. The date of his death as a Martyr: Dec. 23, 2015”

Father of Palestinian terrorist Anan Abu Habseh:
“The first time [my home was demolished] was in ’75, when I was arrested, and this time it was because of the Martyrdom (Shahada) of my son, may Allah have mercy on him. Praise Allah, Lord of the Worlds, these things – as I told you, since ’48 our homes, villages and cities are being destroyed, and our sons, fathers, uncles, and relatives are dying as Martyrs – and the journey continues. There are no flaws and no retreat from our journey. This policy of destruction is in the occupation’s blood, from ’48 until now. We are the Canaanites, we are the Jebusites, we have 6,000 years in this land, while those people, who came as part of an international plot that solved the problems of the Jews and the problems of Europe at the expense of the Palestinian people, they are like the empires that invaded this land and left defeated. Therefore they will [also] leave it defeated, Allah willing…”

Official PA TV reporter: “We thank you for being with us, have a good morning. We salute your resolve. [May Allah have] mercy on Anan’s soul, and [may Allah have] mercy on all the righteous Martyrs, who are more honorable than all of us. Freedom for our brave prisoners, and of course we wish a speedy recovery for our injured.”
