PA Minister: “Israeli invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque occur every day” and Israel seeks “its complete destruction”

“[PA] Minister of Waqf and Religious Affairs Yusuf Ida'is… emphasized that the Israeli invasions of the Al-Aqsa Mosque occur regularly every day from 6 to 10 a.m., in order to allow settlers to pray inside it. He noted that these actions constitute a clear declaration, on the part of the occupation, of a division of the Al-Aqsa Mosque according to time, ahead of its physical division, and eventually, its complete destruction.”

Note: The physical division and division according to time refers to a proposed law (May 2013) being reviewed in Israeli Parliament that would allow for both Jews and Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount. The law seeks to implement separate prayer times for Muslims and Jews at the site.
The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "invasion." However, all visitors are subject to rigorous checks by Israeli security personnel before being granted access to the Temple Mount.
