Fatah official: Israel’s new government has plan to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque

Fars, news agency (Iran)  |
Headline: “A member of the Fatah leadership: The Palestinian nation has experienced an ongoing Nakba (“the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) since 1948.”
“Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki told a Fars News Agency journalist: ‘The situation is very grave at the moment due to the formation of the new government of the occupation, and we cannot coexist with it anymore. Its members are extremists, and most of them are settlers.’
He warned: ‘Part of the plan of the Israeli settlers’ new government is to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque, just as if we are standing before the signs of Judgment day!’
Zaki emphasized that ’It is important to strengthen the Palestinian national unity and to prepare our inner house to confront the dangers that threaten the Palestinian cause,’ and called to intensify the resistance.
To the question as to whether he means armed resistance, Zaki responded: ‘Each region has its special conditions, and armed resistance requires the appropriate geography. We in the West Bank will carry out a gradual popular resistance,’ and noted that ‘this method does not give the enemy an excuse to crush [us].’
Zaki noted that the mass destruction and murder carried out by Islamic State give ‘Israel' justification to use the same - criminal means…
Likewise, Zaki revealed that the battles taking place in the Arab region at this time are meant to divide what has already been divided in the framework of the policy of the ‘creative anarchy’, which was created to serve ‘Israel’s’ security. In addition, he emphasized that all conflicts or disagreements should be with the Zionist enemy, and not with any element hostile to this entity, which was built on slaughter and holocausts."
