PA government warns of “dangers” of Israel’s “invasion of Al-Aqsa Mosque”

Headline: “The government: The invasion of the Al-Aqsa [Mosque] is a crime of terror”
“At the opening of its weekly session, which took place yesterday [Sept. 15, 2015] in Ramallah, led by [PA Prime Minister] Rami Hamdallah, the government warned of the dangers and repercussions of the invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by herds of extremist settlers, led by ministers of the occupation government…
The government emphasized that it takes care to ensure a dignified life for the released prisoners. It emphasized that the Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs is subordinate to the PLO, and that the government will not hesitate to offer the necessary assistance to the national Palestinian fund (i.e., the fund financing the PLO) in order to implement the legislation regarding prisoners. It called on the UN to ensure the protection of the prisoners, and to obligate Israel to recognize them as prisoners of state, especially in the wake of the State of Palestine having joined international treaties and agreements.”

Note: The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "invasion."

On Dec. 31, 2014, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas signed onto 18 international treaties, including the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, with the stated goal of prosecuting Israel in international forums. Abbas stated that the move was motivated by the desire "to complain about the harm caused to us and to our land.”
