Fatah: Settlers are committing “arrogance, attacks, and desecration of our mosques and holy sites”

Headline: “Fatah renewed its support of the president [Abbas] during a solidarity vigil for the Al-Aqsa [Mosque] and the prisoners”
“Thousands of citizens in the Hebron district participated yesterday [Sept. 30, 2015], Wednesday evening, in a solidarity vigil organized by the Hebron branch of Fatah as a sign of support for President Mahmoud Abbas… The Fatah movement issued an announcement today, in which it called on its people and the public to participate in the [solidarity] vigil, which stated: ‘In order to emphasize the ‘Arabness’ and ‘Islamicness’ of Jerusalem, for the holy sites, and to decry the aggression taking place against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and support the president’s speech in the UN, we call you today, Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, in the evening to a [solidarity] vigil in the Ibn Rushd Square in Hebron… We hold the Israeli government fully responsible for any consequences resulting from the arrogance, attacks, and desecration of our mosques and holy sites by the settlers, which would not have happened if the Israeli government had not insisted on continuing the settlement, and protecting the settlers.”

The PA considers any presence of Jews on the Temple Mount an "attack."
