Official Palestinian news agency: Israelis “defile Islamic holy sites under the pretext of them being Jewish [holy sites]”
Headline: “Settlers defiled Islamic holy sites in Kifl Hares in Salfit”
“Today, Sunday [July 24, 2016] a group of settlers invaded the village of Kifl Hares (i.e., where the tomb of the Biblical figure Caleb Ben Yefuneh is located) north of Salfit (i.e., near Ariel) in order to defile Islamic holy sites under the pretext of them being Jewish [holy sites]…
Head of the Kifl Hares municipality Abd Al-Rahim Boudhiyeh said that the religious sites Dhu Al-Kifl, Dhu Al-Nun, and Khadem Salah Al-Din are subjected to ongoing defilement and invasions by the settlers who have even burnt them in the past.”
Note: The PA and its leaders consider any presence of Jews at a Muslim holy site as an "invasion" and as defilement. It should be noted that Jews are visiting open areas and not invading private property.
