PA daily claims settlers and Israeli Antiquity Authority “invaded” the Al-Aqsa Mosque, talked about “myth of the alleged ‘Temple’”

Headline: “Tension at the Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the invasions of teams from the occupation’s Antiquities Authority and settlers”

“Tension prevailed yesterday [Aug. 10, 2016] at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque due to the incessant invasions of settlers in small groups through the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy security of special forces of the occupation’s police. At the same time, teams from the Israel Antiquities Authority invaded it…
The mosque’s guards and worshippers thwarted the attempts of the settlers to hold Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) prayers and ceremonies in the mosque (i.e., at the Temple Mount plaza)… while several extremists gave explanations about the myth of the alleged ‘Temple.’”

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
