PA TV libel: Israel tells civilians not to evacuate war-zones

Contrary to the claims in this news report, standard Israeli policy is to warn civilians to evacuate prior to carrying out any attacks. On no occasion did the Israeli army tell Gaza residents to remain at home; rather, thousands of flyers, phone calls, and text messages warned civilians to evacuate areas surrounding terror targets.

Official PA TV reported on the fighting in Rafah
Official PA TV host: “Homes of residents are now being bombarded by artillery and [war] planes in the Rafah district. There is terrible panic there. The residents in the Rafah district are fleeing their homes, even though the occupation forces are telling them to remain at home.”

Note: This report was broadcast during the 2014 Gaza war as Hamas was firing thousands of rockets at Israel and as Israel was responding with Operation Protective Edge, which aimed at destroying Hamas' terror infrastructure and ability to launch rockets at Israel.
