PA daily quotes university lecturer: Israel carries out “the most criminal acts of massacre in modern history”
This article was published during the 2014 Gaza war as Hamas was firing thousands of rockets at Israel and as Israel was responding with Operation Protective Edge, which aimed at destroying Hamas' terror infrastructure and ability to launch rockets at Israel:
“The Arab American University [in Jenin] organized a solidarity vigil for the residents of the Gaza Strip, who have been subjected to Israeli aggression and barbaric massacres for over six days… Dr. Ayman Yusuf, a lecturer in political science at the university, said: ‘[the purpose of] this vigil is to demonstrate solidarity with our people who are standing firm in the Gaza Strip, which is experiencing the most criminal acts of massacre in modern history…’ In addition, he noted that the Palestinian leadership and people must unanimously declare, in all local, regional and international forums, that we support resistance in all its forms.”
