PA Prime Minister: Murderer of 3-month-old was a "Martyr" who fell victim to the "occupation’s colonialist, settlement, and racist policy"

Report on a PA government meeting held on Oct. 28, 2014.
“[PA Prime Minister Rami] Hamdallah spoke about his and his entourage’s visit to Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, and the Santa Anna Church near the Lions’ Gate, and about the visit of the European consuls to Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He warned against the danger of the aggressive criminal escalation against our people and its holy sites, and against the widespread settlement plans being carried out by the extreme right-wing occupation government in Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories. Likewise, he warned against the actions of the occupation army, which suppresses the peaceful demonstrations and protests against the occupation’s colonialist, settlement, and racist policy, which has recently led to the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of young Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi (20) from the town of Silwan (i.e., a neighborhood in Jerusalem), and the death as a Martyr of the boy Urwa Abd Al-Wahab Hammad (14) (i.e., killed by Israeli soldiers as he was about to throw a Molotov cocktail) from the town of Silwad…
The government emphasized that the purpose of this aggressive and dangerous escalation is to turn the conflict into a religious war in the region, and that Jerusalem is a red line.”

Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi - On Oct. 22, 2014, Al-Shaloudi from East Jerusalem deliberately ran over people waiting at a light-rail station in Jerusalem with his car, killing three-month-old Israeli-American Haya Zissel-Brown and Karen Mosquera, 22, of Ecuador, and injuring 7 others. He was shot by police while attempting to flee, and later died of his wounds.
