PLO official claims Israel carries out assassinations of youth and crimes against Al-Aqsa Mosque

“PLO Executive Committee member and Head of the Department for Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Qurei ‘Abu Alaa’ warned against the severity of the incessant Israeli violations and the dangerous escalation that [Israel] is carrying out in occupied Jerusalem, its environs, and against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. [He also warned against] the crimes that are being committed, which reflect the Israeli occupation government’s way, and against the violations that harm all areas of life: arrests in the ranks of the young people and assassinations on the ground, the latest of which was the assassination of young 17-year-old Ahmed Ghazal (i.e., terrorist, stabbed 3) in the area of Al-Wad Street, which leads to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Ahmed Ghazal – a 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed two Israeli civilians in the Old City of Jerusalem on April 1, 2017. Ghazal fled the scene, and after being cornered by police he stabbed an officer before being shot and killed.
