Fatah: “Popular intifada against the occupation and its settlers must be escalated and spread everywhere”

“Fatah’s Ramallah branch held its weekly meeting yesterday [Jan. 11, 2016] evening, and discussed several topics related to the Palestinian cause, political developments, developments in the field, and the internal organizational situation. [Participants] in the meeting emphasized that it is important to retain the level of alertness, and that the popular intifada against the occupation and its settlers must be escalated and spread everywhere.
[Participants] in the meeting emphasized that the [Fatah] movement and its Tanzim (Fatah terror faction –Ed.) will remain the spearhead of the resistance to the occupation out of loyalty to the sweeping flood of Martyrs and the commitment they took upon themselves: to defend the land, the honor, and the holy sites. [They added that] the struggle’s arena is not limited to a specific location or time as long as the occupation continues to hang over our land and its settlers continue to damage our property… The movement stated that [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and his Nazi government’s gamble on the collapse of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the thwarting of the intifada from the inside is a failed gamble, and noted that the people of sacrifice do not mind paying the price as long as its goal is freedom and independence.”
