“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas emphasized that the Israeli occupation must be put to an end. He stated: ‘The end of the occupation will put an end to all the problems connected to it, such as terror. The end of terror will lead to the finding of solutions for the problems caused by it, such as the problem of emigration, which is no longer confined to the Middle East, but has spread to Europe and [become] an international aspect.’ President Abbas met with his Greek colleague [President] Prokipis Pavlopoulos, and with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.”
