Headline: “Saidam criticizes the participation of private software companies in a forum in Israel”
“President Mahmoud Abbas' advisor for communications and information technology, Sabri Saidam criticized the participation of private Palestinian software companies in a forum held in Israel with Israeli companies. In an announcement to the Xinhua news agency, Saidam said that the goal Israel is trying to achieve through these meetings is ‘to beautify the face of the occupation in the Palestinian territories.’ He noted: ‘It’s important that our people and our brothers in these companies pay attention to this aspect and avoid sliding into what could create an impression that things are functioning naturally and that the occupation is letting the Palestinians live in dignity, while everyday it clearly robs the land and kills the chance for the birth of the Palestinian state.’”
