PA minister: Abbas and the Palestinian people will not agree to make concessions
Official PA TV broadcast the Friday sermon delivered by PA Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash from the Al-Taqwa Mosque, Al-Tireh.
PA Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “I am telling you, brothers, and I am telling the whole world, even the US: you will only hear from the President [Abbas] what you have heard him say in the past. You will not hear from him about concession when there is an [entire] nation behind him. If the President cedes – his people will not forgive him. We will stand with him as long as he adheres to [his] principles. But if he deviates from [his] principles, we will not stand with him, and he will find himself alone. He knows this, and he will tell them (i.e., Israel and the US) so.”
