PMW report presented in US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee
In April 2008, PMW director Itamar Marcus presented a 30-page report to the US House of Representatives’ Foreign Affairs Committee, documenting Palestinian Authority contacts and alliances with the enemies of the US: North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Iran, Chavez’s Venezuela, and Hezbollah. The Jerusalem Post story the next day, April 16, 2008, was headlined, “PA cozying up to America's enemies,” and stated, “President Mahmoud Abbas' Palestinian Authority is snugly in bed with the United States' worst enemies, according to a report presented in Washington on Tuesday by Palestinian Media Watch.” Follow up is being coordinated with members of Congress, and PMW is working with them on the language of new legislation to limit funding of the PA hate infrastructure.
