PA minister honors family of terrorist responsible for deaths of 46 Israelis with "plaque of loyalty"

“A delegation of the [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs in the southern Districts (i.e., the Gaza Strip) visited [the families of] sick prisoners in the occupation prisons yesterday [April 15, 2015]. During the meeting, Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs [and PA Parliament Member] Issa Karake phoned the family of… prisoner Hassan Salameh. The commission’s delegation, which included the committee in charge of managing the commission’s affairs in the Gaza Strip and other colleagues, visited the family of sick prisoner Hassan Salameh, born in 1971 in Khan Yunis, imprisoned since May 17, 1996 and sentenced to 48 life sentences and 20 years (sic., Salameh is serving 46 life sentences)…
The commission’s delegation awarded plaques of loyalty to the families of the sick prisoners, and promised to continue the team work and the coordination with human rights organizations and institutions in order to pressure the occupation until they [the prisoners] are released and taken care of outside [prison].”
Note: Hassan Salameh is serving 46 life sentences for heading the terror infrastructure that carried out 2 suicide bombings on no. 18 buses in Jerusalem (first attack on Feb. 25, 1996, second attack on March 3, 1996), and the suicide bombing at the Ashkelon Junction hitchhike point (Feb. 25, 1996). 46 people were killed in the attacks and around 100 were wounded.
