PLO Head of Prisoners’ Affairs visits families of imprisoned terrorists, accuses Israel of “medical neglect” of Palestinian prisoners

“Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake and a delegation of released prisoners visited several families of prisoners in the Bethlehem district yesterday [June 19, 2016]. They visited the family of wounded prisoner Riyad Al-Amour who suffers from a heart disease, the family of sick and wounded prisoner Muhammad Al-Badan, and the family of prisoner Muhammad Hmeid.
Karake said during the visit: ‘We are trying to turn attention to the suffering of the sick prisoners sitting in the jails, for there is no end to their suffering and pain until death, as a result of medical neglect and lack of treatment for hundreds of prisoners who suffer from dangerous diseases.’”

Riyad Al-Amour – a Tanzim (Fatah terror faction) terrorist who is serving 11 life sentences. He belonged to a Tanzim cell that was responsible for the murder of 9 Israelis - 5 soldiers and 4 civilians - in shooting attacks between October 2000 and March 2003 and for the murder of 3 Palestinians they suspected of collaborating with Israel.

Muhammad Al-Badan - Palestinian terrorist who carried out a stabbing attack in the Gilo neighborhood of Jerusalem on Oct. 23, 2008, murdering 86-year-old Avraham Ozeri and injuring a police officer. Al-Badan is serving 1 life sentence and an additional 14 years.

Muhammad Hmeid – PMW has been unable to find any information on this prisoner at this time.
