PLO official accuses Israel of "deliberate medical neglect" of Palestinian prisoners

Headline: "Karake: The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs demanded an investigation of the circumstances of the death as a Martyr of prisoner Al-Jalad"
"Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake said that the commission has demanded the opening of an investigation of the circumstances of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of prisoner Muhammad Al-Jalad (i.e., terrorist), and the reasons for the delay in declaring his death. He noted that the [Israeli] Beilinson Hospital administration conspired with what is known as the [Israeli] Prison Service.
Karake added that this is a recurring crime, which the occupation government has perpetrated against the prisoners and the wounded who are being held in the Israeli detention camps. He also noted that since 2010, 10 prisoners have died as Martyrs in the Israeli detention camps as a result of deliberate medical neglect. He said: 'These are deliberate crimes against the prisoners in the detention camps.'"
