PA Minister glorifies imprisoned terrorists as the “pride” and “bravery” of Palestinians

Official PA TV Live  |
Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs, Issa Karake at an event at the Cultural Palace in Ramallah:
“An interrogator asked one of the prisoners: ‘Why do you keep silent and endure torture while you, the Palestinian people no longer hold anything? You’re weak and we’re stronger than you.’ …
The prisoner answered: ‘No we’re stronger than you… We have the bravery of Marwan Barghouti, the pride of Ahmad Sa’adat and the resolve of Karim Younes and Lina Al-Jarbouni.’
The prisoner described how the interrogator frowned and left in a hurry, [then] suddenly returned and asked: ‘What’s the difference between you and us?’ The prisoner answered: ‘The difference is that you Israelis build an army to establish a state for yourselves on the ruins of others, while we Palestinians build a song for a homeland that has always existed in our souls.’”
